General Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions:

“Company” or “We” means Hotel Pearl Residency whose registered office is at the 746/1A, Near Railway Station, Railway Feeder Road, Rameswaram – 623 526, Tamil Nadu, India.
“Booking” means the booking for accommodation, functions and/or any other services or items made with us.
“Contract” means the Booking and these Terms, and any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the Booking.
“Hotel” means the premises for which your Booking is made.
“Terms” means these terms and conditions.
“Websites” means www.hotelpearlresidency.com or any other website owned or operated by us relating to a Hotel from time to time.
“GST” means Goods and Services Tax.

2. Booking Policies:

Children:

The Hotel allows a child up to 10 years of age to stay for free using the existing bedding. Individuals above the age of 10 are considered as adults by the Hotel, adult charges applicable.

Extra Bedding:
An extra mattress for a third occupant is allowed and is chargeable per night excluding breakfast, unless stated in the specific rate plan. The charge will automatically be included upon selection of more than 2 adults during reservation.

Requests:
All requests entered into the ‘Requests’ box on the Hotel website booking engine are subject to availability and the Hotel bears no responsibility should it be unable to fulfill certain requests..

Room Occupancy:
The total number of occupants in a room, including children, shall not exceed the maximum number of occupants permitted for the respective room types.

Standard Double Room : up to 2 persons
Superior Double Room : up to 2 persons
Standard Triple Room : up to 3 persons
Family Suite Room : up to 4 persons

If you have any questions or clarifications regarding the Hotel’s Maximum Occupancy Policy, our staff will be happy to explain in detail. Please also note that the Hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to any additional guest exceeding the maximum occupancy allowed for that room type.

3. Check-in/check-out Policies:
Age Requirement:

Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to check-in. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The Hotel reserves the right to check photo identification.

Check-in/Check-out:
We follow 12 Noon check-in & checkout policy. Early check-in and late check-out will be considered and is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, room to be reserved the previous night. Charges applicable!!!

4. General Policies:
Damage to Hotel Property:
The Hotel reserves the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage or soiling, caused by accidental, deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the Hotel’s property or structure.

Parking:
We offer complimentary self-parking. The hotel assumes no responsibility for theft or damages to your vehicle on our premises.

Pets:
The Hotel maintains a strict no-pets policy on its premises.

Prohibited Items:
The following items are not permitted in the Hotel premises:
Outside is food not allowed inside the Hotel Restaurant
Outside guests can meet the in-house guests until 21.00 hours only.
Animals of any kind.
Flammable, explosive or otherwise hazardous materials.
Objects emitting a foul odour.
Unregistered firearms or other weapons.
Objects of an unusually large size or in unusually large quantities.
Articles related to use in gambling, prostitution, smuggling or other illicit acts.
Illegal drugs or other articles, the possession of which is prohibited by the laws of India.
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest found to be in possession of prohibited items. Guests shall be solely liable and responsible for all loss financial or otherwise, and damage that may be caused by such items.

Visitors:
In the interest of your well-being and security, all visitors are required to register at the security gate and are requested to leave guestrooms by 10.00 p.m.

5. Health and Well-Being Policies:
Excessive Noise and Parties:
To ensure all guests enjoy the comfort and safety of the facilities we offer, the Hotel upholds a strict zero tolerance policy towards commotion, excessive noise and parties. Any person found to be on our premises creating excessive noise, having a party, exceeding the numbers of permitted guests or otherwise causing a disturbance will be requested to leave the hotel without refund.

Inappropriate Behavior:
Should any action by a guest, may it be towards our staff or otherwise, be deemed inappropriate by the Hotel, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to attention, the Hotel reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest which may result in, but not limited to, being asked to leave without a refund for any services incurred.

Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted in any guestrooms or inside the hotel building. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas of the Hotel. For the safety of yourself and those of others, candles or other sources of open flame are not permitted in the hotel.

6. Payment Policy:
50% advance payment would be appreciated at the time of booking.
Balance amount to be settled within 07 working days upon confirmation of the booking and in order to avoid cancellations.
Hotel has the right to release any reservation which is not guaranteed by a 50% advance.
Room Payment to be cleared at the time of check-In for guests making direct payment.
All incidentals to be cleared on or before check out.

7. Cancellation, Amendment & Refund Policies

Throughout The Year – Except from Dec 16 to Jan 5

If cancellation is done 7 days prior to the date of arrival, full amount will be refunded.
If cancellation is done 3 days prior to the date of arrival, 50% will be refunded.
No refund on cancellation within 72 hours of the arrival date
No refund for “No Show”
Credit/Debit Card cancellation will be refundable after deduction of 5% processing fee payable on the total booking amount.

Refund Process would take at least 7 business days from the date of Cancellation.

Refund of amount will be made through bank transfer due to security reasons.
Cancellation Policy during Peak Season (December 16 to January 05)
If cancellation is done 7 days of the arrival date will be refundable after deduction of 5% processing fee payable on the total booking amount
No refund on cancellation within 7 days of the arrival date
No refund for “No Show”
Any amendment in the reservation will be considered as a cancellation and will be governed by the Cancellation Policy
Credit/Debit Card cancellation will be refundable after deduction of 5% processing fee payable on the total booking amount.
Refund Process would take at least 7 business days from the date of Cancellation.
Refund of amount will be made through bank transfer due to security reasons.
